"Cutting down a dreadful 2020, and revealing an amazing 2021!"
2020 has been a dreadful year and many would like to just be done with and forget! What better way then, to transition into the new year by training through the last dying minutes of the old year! Finish the year strong, and start a new year STRONGER!
On 31 December 2020, we will start our training session at 23h30 (GMT+2/CAT) and work through into the new year! Through our training, we will recall what a year we have had - the good and the bad. We will acknowledge our faults, weaknesses and shortcomings, and train through that. We will push through all those physical and mental blockages as we train, and successfully move into the new year, a new period in our life and in human history. We will start the year off strong! 💪💪💪
Our session comprised 1,000 cuts. Initially 100 to warmup, then 3x sets of 100x men suburi, 100x kote suburi, and 100x do suburi!

The Rivonia Kendo Club (RKC) trains Kendo and Iaido, Japanese sword-based martial arts that encourages the cultivation of the human character.
The RKC also now offers, Jodo, the art of the short staff, which is the third martial arts under the auspices of the International Kendo Federation (FIK).
